McClintock XL Bullies
XL American Bullies bred right in Spartanburg, South Carolina
ABKC registered. Raised at home. Shipped anywhere in the country.
We’re not going to sell you a story. Every dog on this page is real, registered and raised in our home. Our foundation pair, Bucky and Marvel, come from Crumps Bullies, and we’re building on that line with thick bone, sound structure and the kind of temperament that makes an XL Bully a family dog first. Our litters are small and they go fast, so when something on this page catches your eye, call or text and put your name down.
ABKC registeredOur dogs are registered with the American Bully Kennel Club.
- Puppies shipped to all 50 states
- Raised at home in South Carolina
- Small, planned litters
- Merle bloodline in our pedigrees
- Bucky is available for stud
Meet Bucky and Marvel
The foundation of McClintock XL Bullies. Both come from Crumps Bullies, and both carry the structure and temperament we breed for.
Bucky Sire
Marvel Dam
Why this pairing works: Bucky is out of a merle sire, Suga Daddy, and Marvel came from a litter that included merle puppies. Together they give us bone, size and a deep, colorful pedigree, and Marvel’s April 2025 litter shows what they can do.
Bucky is available for stud
Reverse brindle, ABKC registered, out of a merle sire. Call or text to talk about a stud service with Bucky. Zeus is not yet ready for stud service.
Puppies expected in mid-October
Marvel is due around the middle of October 2026 with a Bucky litter. The best way to get first pick of color and sex is to reserve before they arrive. Call or text and we’ll put your name on the list. Photos go right here the day they’re born.

Zeus
A blue tri male from PA Street Bullies in Pennsylvania, out of a blue tri merle sire. Zeus brings fresh bloodline into our program. He is not yet available for stud, but Bucky is.
Zeus with Clara, and Zeus with Smokey, are the pairings we’re planning next. If you want a puppy from either one, call or text and get on the early list.
Colors and bloodlines
Every pairing is different, so we won’t promise you a color. These are the colors American Bullies come in and the ones showing up in our pedigrees.
Where our dogs come from
Crumps Bullies. Bucky and Marvel both come from Crumps Bullies, a kennel known for XL structure, and our whole program starts there.
Merle bloodline. Bucky is out of a merle sire, Suga Daddy. Marvel came from a litter that included merle puppies, and Zeus is out of a blue tri merle sire. None of our own dogs have a merle coat, but the merle lines are in the pedigrees.
PA Street Bullies. Zeus adds a second bloodline from Pennsylvania, which helps keep our pairings fresh.
The American Bully, explained
The American Bully was developed from the 1990s on. It’s built on American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier foundations, with bulldog influence added for bone and body. The ABKC recognized it as a breed in 2004, and the UKC followed in 2013.
It was bred as a companion: confident, people-loving and eager to please. Like any powerful dog, it needs early socialization, steady training and daily exercise. We’ll tell you plainly whether a bully is the right fit for your home.

Our story
McClintock XL Bullies is a small, family-run kennel in Spartanburg, South Carolina, a short drive from Greenville and Charlotte. We started with two dogs from Crumps Bullies, Bucky and Marvel, and one simple rule: breed for structure and temperament, and tell people the truth about every dog.
Marvel’s April 2025 litter gave us Clara and Smokey, and that’s when this program really began. Now Zeus, a blue tri from PA Street Bullies with merle bloodline behind him, is joining the girls to bring in fresh genetics.
We keep our numbers small on purpose. Every dog gets time, every litter is planned, and every buyer gets a straight answer, even when the answer is that a dog isn’t the right fit.
- HonestReal dogs, real photos, registered parents. What you see here is what you get.
- DependableWe answer our phone and our texts. When we tell you a puppy is yours, it’s yours.
- Top of the lineThick bone, big blocky heads and sound structure, from bloodlines we believe in.
Questions buyers ask
Where are you located?
We're in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in the Upstate, a short drive from Greenville and Charlotte. Puppies ship nationwide.
Do you ship puppies to my state?
Yes. We ship to all 50 states, and worldwide where local law allows. Call or text 864-279-7057 and we'll work out timing and details with you. Please check your local rules on bully breeds first.
Are your dogs registered?
Yes. Our dogs are registered with the American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC).
Is Bucky available for stud?
Yes. Bucky is available for stud service now. Call or text to talk about it. Zeus is not yet available for stud.
What is an XL American Bully?
XL is the tallest of the ABKC size varieties: Pocket, Classic, Standard and XL. It's measured by height at the withers, roughly 20 to 23 inches for males and 19 to 22 inches for females, with the same heavy muscle and broad, blocky head as the Standard.
What colors do your dogs come in?
Our dogs and litters have included reverse brindle, black tri, blue, fawn, chocolate tri and black. XL Bullies also come in lilac, champagne, blue tri, lilac tri and merle. Every pairing is different, so ask us about the next one.
Do you have merle bloodline?
Yes. Bucky is out of a merle sire, Suga Daddy. Marvel came from a litter that included merle puppies, and Zeus is out of a blue tri merle sire. None of our own dogs have a merle coat, so we won't promise merle in any litter, but ask us about the pairings.
Are XL Bullies good family dogs?
The American Bully was bred as a companion, and many are loving, people-focused family dogs. They are strong, so they need early socialization, steady training and daily exercise. We'll always tell you honestly whether a bully fits your home.
Are your dogs healthy?
Our adult dogs are healthy, with no known health issues. Ask us about health records and what comes with a puppy.
How do I reserve a puppy from the next litter?
Call or text 864-279-7057. Marvel is expected to have puppies around the middle of October 2026, and reserving before they arrive gives you first pick of color and sex.
